Wintery Nail Art with Carrie Underwood OPI

Wintery Nails

I received three more colours from the Carrie Underwood Nicole by OPI line:

  • Goodbye Shoes
  • Lips are Dripping Honey
  • and Some Hearts.

I really enjoyed using these polishes inspired by Carrie Underwood on my nails. This collection has a large span of different colors of polishes that fit with every outfit and mood — and I love it!

Some Hearts is a gorgeous coral colour that I loved at first sight. It’s perfect for the 2014 spring that is approaching soon. Lips are Dripping Honey is all glamour. It spices up any colour you want by just applying one coat over a base colour. Now your nails will sparkle and shine! The clolour I chose to show off in the design I am sharing with you today is Goodbye Shoes. It’s a gray green that looks fantastic on your nails, and fantastic with a design.

Wintery Nail Art

To create these wintery nails, I first applied two coats of Goodbye Shoes. Since this is a darker colour any mistakes you make will show up more. I suggest keeping your nail polish remover on hand to quickly clean up any small mistakes before they dry. I use a wooden cuticle pusher soaked in nail polish remover to clean up the nail polish that doesn’t end up where it is supposed to. Then I took my white thin tip and made the ground and pine tree silhouettes. Use light stokes with the white so you can still see the base color underneath it.

Now you have a great design for winter that shows off Goodbye Shoes by OPI.

I love the blue grey background colour, it's a gorgeous! The winter scape looks really good and again I don't know how she gets her inspiration but it's great
