Lemon and Thyme Roast Turkey with White Wine Gravy

I absolutely love Canadian Living magazine, so when I was asked if I would like to make the Lemon and Thyme Roast Turkey with White Wine Gravy recipe that was featured on the cover of their October magazine, I jumped at the opportunity. My husband Trevor and I love to cook together in the kitchen, so this challenge was perfectly suited for us.

Our challenge was to make the Lemon and Thyme Roast Turkey with white wine gravy recipe from the Canadian Living Magazine.

Here is what Canadian Living says about the recipe…

Lemon and Thyme Roast Turkey With White Wine Gravy

This lemon-kissed herbed turkey is equally suitable for a fancy affair or a casual family get-together. Choose a good-quality white wine to use in the gravy, and serve the rest of the bottle to guests at the table.

We know that recipes from Canadian Living Magazine are always tested till perfect, so we had no doubt that this turkey would turn out delicious.

The hardest part was actually finding a turkey that was between 7 to 9 kg. We finally found our perfect bird at the third store and everything else went without a glitch.

Lemon and Thyme Roast Turkey

Flavourful on a crisp autumn day, this roast turkey blends ideally with hints of lemon and the pleasant fragrance of thyme. While the task may look challenging, this bird was savoury yet easy to prepare together as a family. ~ Trevor & Jody Arsenault
