DID YOU KNOW YOU CAN FREEZE EGGS? + an Artisan Stand Mixer Giveaway

Earlier this month we told you about our favorite breakfast — a fried sunny side up egg in a cast iron pan.  We wrote about how important it was for parents all over the world to make sure that they start their mornings off with a delicious and hearty breakfast.

DID YOU KNOW YOU CAN FREEZE EGGS?

If prepared correctly, eggs can easily be frozen and used again at a later time.  You can find other great Egg Storage Tips at eggs.ca!

daffodils

February can be difficult with winter lasting a long time in parts of Canada.  The mornings are dark and the sun seems to set so early.  Egg Farmers in Canada invited Canadians to #wakeuptoyellow and hosted pop up yellow gardens in Toronto, Vancouver and Montreal on February 2.

From 7:30am to 11:30am local farmers distributed egg breakfast sandwiches (made with CANADIAN eggs!) to help Canadians #wakeuptoyellow with the natural goodness of eggs.

To add to the brightness of Canadian egg breakfast sandwiches, they also handed out 2,500 yellow potted daffodils to brighten up the cold winter sky on Feburary 2 making Canadians smile despite the cold.

I would make Boccone Dolce. It's three layers of chocolate covered meringues, with whipped cream and fresh strawberries between the layers.
