6 TIPS TO MAKING THE BEST ROAD TRIP SURVIVAL PACK

My sister is heading out to college and while she will need stuff while she is there, I decided to pack her a little Road Trip Survival Pack for the long drive there.

When making a road trip survival pack as a gift here are a few tips to keep in mind.

  1. Include some common necessities.
  2. Remember to make it with things the person would like, not the things you would like.
  3. How many people are going on the road trip?
  4. How long is the drive?
  5. Will they be the one driving or will they be a passenger?
  6. Do they have allergies or dislikes?

My sister is driving alone, so things like a books or magazines did not really make sense for the drive. I also know that she does not like drinking pop, but she does love chocolate. I also know she has dry skin. Taking these things into consideration helped me customize this road trip survival pack just for her.

For this road trip pack I decided to include these 5 things that I considered important:

  • Water bottles along with a reusable water bottle
  • Tissues
  • Hand Lotion
  • Lip Balm
  • Trail Mix

Then I included the things I thought she would really like:

  • Juice
  • Pepperoni Stick
  • Gum
  • Reeses
  • Dairy Milk
  • Rolos
  • Cookies
  • Wafers
  • Chips
  • Candies

Yes, lot and lots of chocolate! A sister has to be good for something!!! Once I had everything together I put it in a reusable cooler bag.
