When I first heard about taking piano lessons online I was not sure that it could really work as well as having a live piano teacher. That said, when I heard about Hoffman Academy, I was intrigued. I had heard some really good reviews and so I thought it would be worth a try.
FREE PIANO LESSONS
All the piano lesson videos are available for free, so this was a great way to get a feeling of how the program worked.
PREMIUM MEMBERSHIP OPTION
Once my daughters had taken a few of the lessons I was ready to give the premium membership a try. The premium membership is $15 per month (or works out to a little less if you choose to pay annually).
I was blown away by the premium membership. It honestly is way better than I imagined it could be. I printed out the first unit and my daughter was eager to get started. She loves the personalized daily practice instructions. These practice activities are shown to her online and these different challenges help her to stay engaged and motivated. The points she earns for completing piano lessons and practices make it even more fun. She can’t wait to earn enough points to advance to the next level.
I can always tell when she is at the end of a lesson because I hear her giggle – the little puppets at the end of each lesson add a personal touch – she says it feels like Mr. Hoffman is a real piano teacher and he is a lot of fun.
The Hoffman Academy offers a well-rounded program. This method teaches children not only to play piano but to read and understand music as well.
If you are looking for piano lessons for your children, I encourage you to try the Hoffman Academy. Hoffman Academy is geared for elementary age children, but anyone can use the program, even adults!

I have tried to play in in the past but only know a few tunes without any real instruction. I'd love to try something like this out.
