The importance of saying “I Love You” to your children may seem like such a small thing in the grand scheme of things, but in reality, it’s not.

For some people, expressing themselves to their children and saying “I Love You” to them just comes naturally.

For others, they may have to think about it a little bit and be reminded that it’s nice for their children to hear them say those 3 words.

There are so many great reasons that saying “I Love You” to your child should be something that you do, at least once a day, every single day.

IT INSTILLS COURAGE

When a child knows that their parents love them unconditionally, it helps to build their courage.

Knowing that there is a strong foundation of love backing them up, gives them more stability to try new things and take risks.

IT MAKES THEM FEEL VALUABLE

Kids that know that they are loved for who they are, rather than what they can provide or do, find it easier to see how valuable they really are in life.

It also builds confidence in your children and seeing a confident child is amazing!

Building trust is an important foundation for any relationship.

By telling your kids that you love them, you are letting them know that you have their best interests in mind and that they can trust you.

Showing our children what love really is, is very important to their future relationships.

If your kids can see what it feels like to be loved, they will be more motivated to love others in the same fashion.

Yes, show your children you're on their side, you've got their back, & you're always going to support them. The words "I love you" are so important to say to remind them you're truly there for them.
